Sending Money

Inmates at the FCI Terminal Island are also allowed to receive money into their inmate’s accounts from well-wishers or family members. The funds can be sent through MoneyGram or Western Union for a small fee. It could also be sent by money order to the federal money account address on its FBOP website.

Phone Calls

FCI Terminal Island allows their inmates to make prepaid phone calls to their loved ones between 7 am and 10 pm daily. The costs are cut directly from the inmate’s commissary account or, in some instances, from the person receiving the call. Calls are monitored by the relevant authorities.

Visiting Rules

At the FCI Terminal Island, inmates are permitted to receive up to five visitors between 8 am and 3 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and federal holidays. Visitors are, however, expected to call to schedule visits. Inmates in conferment are not allowed to receive visitors.
