Inmates are encouraged to write to family, friends, and other community contacts to maintain these ties during incarceration. Written correspondence is either general or special mail. Inmates may receive certain commercial publications from the community. The USP Florence - High permits them to subscribe to or receive publications without prior approval as long as the incoming publication does not breach the facility’s policies.
Inmates can only receive packages (release clothing and authorized medical devices) from home with prior written approval from the inmate's unit team or trusted staff member.

Phone Calls
